Walawaani 2025 Cheryl Davison is a Walbunja, Ngarigo woman who was born on the shores of Wallaga Lake, the Far South Coast of New South Wales but grew up in Nowra and Bombaderry. Cheryl Davison is the feature artist for Shoalhaven Regional Gallery in 2025 sharing largescale reproductions of four beautiful paintings, Sooty (Oyster Catcher), My Favourite Place, Bats of the Bay and Bringing the Rain.
Winner announced for First Nations Exhibition Shoalhaven Regional Gallery is pleased to announce the winner of the inaugural First Nations Exhibition, Nicole Smede with her project Bagandha yanggamba-ngga - ‘Country sings in me’. Nicole receives an artist fee, an exhibition at the Gallery and a mentorship with celebrated Wiradjuri artist, Karla Dickens.
