A slow-time party for the 21st century

ANALOG is a curated art and performance event with the atmosphere of a backyard BBQ, connecting deeply and intentionally to artistic practice, to conversation, to place and to enjoying each other’s company.

For ANALOG NOWRA in the Shoalhaven Regional Gallery Courtyard we are drawing connections with the photographic exhibition by Muzafar Ali to bring contemporary Afghani poetry, music and food into the space, with performances by Dorr-e Dari ( led by artists Mahdi Mohammadi and Jawad Yacoubi) and musician, Abbas Neshat followed by an Afghan BBQ prepared by the artists.

Performances by: Regina Heilman and Meg Kovalik, Dorr-e Dari, Jundaal Strang-Yettica and Emma Saunders

Produced by WEREWOLF Curated by Kaz Therese and Bec Dean

To bring us together as participants at ANALOG, choreographer Emma Saunders will share some of her movement teachings on grounding our bodies in place, space and time. Yugambeh-Bundjalung & Kannakan performance artist, Jundaal Strang-Yettica will treat guests to her performance of Sister Everywhen, a nun from a diverse religious order who is coming to terms with her existence. AND South Coast artist and performance royalty, Regina Heilmann will present an improvised duet with saxophonist Megan Kovalik.
