Illusions Aboard consists of a series of panels in a range of sizes, each with its own unique geometric patterns inspired by interpretations of angles and illusions on walls, buildings and architectural sites.
The panels use a combination of media to create geometric shapes and images, rich in texture and contrast. Kanun’s work is highly refined in finish, and is unique in the way it can be viewed from many angles and positions, catching the eye and allowing the viewer to form their own interpretation of the work.
Kanun is an accredited member of Craft ACT, Studio Woodworkers Association and Victorian Woodworkers, who developed his passion and skills from a young age, growing up around his father, a custom furniture maker.
